Storage
Most of this collection exists because European flats have no built-in storage. The numbers that matter are depth and pair count: a shoe cabinet 23.5 cm deep fits a hallway that a 40 cm one blocks, and a cabinet at 14.5 cm is the only thing that goes beside a door without hitting it. Every listing gives depth first.
Buying guides
Measured answers to the questions we get most, written in centimetres rather than adjectives.
- Sideboard depth, length and load
- Bookshelf depth and shelf spacing
- Entryway storage layout
- Wardrobe interior layout
Shoe cabinets, wardrobes, bookcases and narrow storage built for hallways and small rooms. Depths and pair capacities are listed in cm on every product page.
- Shoe cabinets: 17-24 cm depth fits 10-12 pairs; 38 cm fits 15 pairs and a top surface.
- Hallways need 90 cm of clear walkway beside any cabinet.
- A shelf spans 60 cm on 18 mm board before it sags — 15-20 kg per shelf.
Measure first: hallway console size, shoe cabinet depth, bookshelf load capacity.
