Home Office
A home office in a European flat is usually a wall, not a room. Everything in this collection is chosen because it works against a wall or folds into one: desks from 60 cm wide, wall-mounted desks that close to 12 cm deep, and drawer units narrow enough to sit under a 120 cm desk without blocking your knees.
Buying guides
Measured answers to the questions we get most, written in centimetres rather than adjectives.
Desks, drawer units and wall desks that fit a bedroom corner. Desk depth, knee clearance and monitor height are listed in cm on each listing.
- Desk depth: 60 cm minimum for a monitor, 70-80 cm for a laptop plus documents.
- Desk height: 72-75 cm fixed; seat height 42-48 cm with feet flat.
- Leave 75-90 cm behind the chair for pushing back.
Ergonomics first: desk depth guide, desk and chair height, chair clearance.
