Delivery and shipping
How long does delivery take?
Delivery time and cost are calculated at checkout by postcode before you pay, so you see the exact date before ordering. Items shipped directly by our manufacturing partners show a longer lead time on the product page — that date is the one we commit to.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Japan. Delivery is calculated at checkout by postcode. If your country is not listed, email us through the contact form at furnolio.com/pages/contact — we add routes when there is enough demand.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You receive a tracking link by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel, usually within 24 hours of dispatch. Larger items shipped by freight are booked in by phone before delivery, so keep the number on your order reachable.
Fitting and measuring
Will a sofa fit through my door and stairwell?
Every product page lists the dimensions of the largest shipping box, not just the assembled sofa. A standard European interior door is 80 cm wide; if the largest box in the spec table is under 80 cm on its shortest side, it will pass. Compressed and modular pieces ship in boxes of 110 cm or less for exactly this reason.
How do I measure my room for a sofa?
Measure the wall run you want the sofa against, then subtract 75 cm in front of it for walking space. A 269 cm sectional therefore needs a wall of at least 275 cm and a room of roughly 16 m² or more. Below 16 m², choose a 200 cm three-seater or an L-shape with a removable chaise.
How long does a compressed sofa take to reach full shape?
Between 24 and 72 hours. Most of the expansion happens in the first 12 hours after unboxing. Rooms below 18°C can stretch it to 96 hours, so keep the room at normal living temperature and fluff the cushions twice on the first day. The sofa is usable immediately, just flatter than its final shape.
Do I need to assemble anything?
Compressed and cloud sofas arrive fully assembled — you unbox and wait. Modular sectionals clip together by hand with no tools. Bed frames and wardrobes are flat-packed and take 20–45 minutes to build; every product page states whether assembly is required.
Materials and durability
What foam density do you use, and will it sag?
We only stock 28D foam or above. Seat cushions at 28–30D hold their shape for five years or more under daily use, while foam below 25D visibly sags within 18 months. The exact density is listed in the spec table on each product page.
Are the covers removable and washable?
Seat and back cushion covers on the corduroy and chenille ranges unzip and machine-wash at 30°C. Fixed covers and structural panels are spot-clean only.
Is the furniture safe for children?
Every kids' item lists its recommended age range and maximum load on the product page. If you need the safety paperwork for a specific item — the EN 71 test report for a play table, for instance — ask us before ordering and we will send the supplier's certificate.
Orders, returns and after-sales
What is your return policy?
You can return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Compressed / vacuum-packed sofas can be returned under our Returns & Refund Policy even after unboxing — please email us first so we can arrange suitable packaging or collection.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Photograph the packaging and the damage before signing the delivery note, then email us through the contact form at furnolio.com/pages/contact within 48 hours with your order number. We replace damaged parts or the whole item at our cost. Signing "unchecked" limits what we can claim from the carrier, so please inspect large deliveries on arrival.
Can I add modules to a sofa later?
Yes, for pieces within the same fabric family. All modular sections use the same clip system, so a two-seater bought this year can become an L-shape next year. Fabric dye lots vary between production runs, so if a colour match matters, order the modules together.
