What furnolio does
furnolio sells furniture measured for European apartments rather than showrooms — modular sofas, compressed cloud sectionals, bed frames and narrow-hallway storage, with every dimension listed in centimetres before you buy. We started in 2026 because the furniture we could find online was photographed in 40 m² lofts and described in adjectives, and neither helped anyone work out whether a sofa would clear their stairwell.
Where we ship from
Delivery time and cost are calculated at checkout by postcode before you pay, so you see the exact date before ordering.
We currently deliver to: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Japan. If your country is not on the list, email us — we add routes when there is enough demand.
How we choose what to stock
Every product has to pass one test before it goes on the site: does it solve a problem that small homes actually have? In practice that means three filters.
- It has to fit through a door. Products ship flat-packed or compressed, and we publish the largest box dimension so you can check your stairwell first.
- It has to state its numbers. Seat depth, foam density, weight capacity, expansion time. If a supplier cannot give us these, we do not list the product.
- It has to survive being sat on. We only stock foam at 28D or above, because lower densities visibly sag within 18 months of daily use.
What we are not
We are not a marketplace and we do not hold every item in stock at all times. Some pieces ship directly from our manufacturing partners, which is why a product page will sometimes show a longer lead time than the rest of the catalogue. When that happens, the date on the product page is the date we commit to.
